Meg & Peter's Intimate Wedding at Hoyt Arboretum

Wedding season is warming up, and what an awesome way to kick it off! Meg and Peter celebrated their love with a lovely, intimate gathering on the Redwood Deck at Hoyt Arboretum. So cool to be a part of a wedding surrounded by Redwoods! I didn't even know they existed in Portland! It was raining all morning, but the rains stopped just in time for the ceremony! The two were married by Peter's mother and read vows to each other they wrote themselves.  So magical! We were prepared with umbrellas, so naturally we still played around with them because, why not?  I told Meg not to stab Peter with one, but she did anyways (See below).  Thankfully, he got better. Anyways it was an awesome day and I'm so happy for these two!

Winter Engagement Shoot with JP & Lindsay

I had a great time shooting with this lovely couple at the Portland Rose Gardens and The Oregon Zoo during their Zoo Lights a few weeks ago!  The chemistry between these two is amazing, they made my job super easy!  We braved the cold together and had a great time! Can't wait for their wedding in August!

Super Fun "Engagement" Shoot with Marian & Jason

Marian, Jason, & I headed out to Silver Creek Falls for a nice little couples shoot.  On the way out we noticed a lot of awesome Christmas tree farms and decided to stop and take advantage of the amazing scenery.  Wow, I'm so glad we did! These two killed it!

Full Post from Boardman Tree Farm!

I headed out to Boardman Tree Farm last weekend with my friend German Jenn to take a few photos while the trees were still showing off their sweet, sweet Autumn colors.  We only got to shoot for about 20-30 minutes before the rain got too heavy, but still got some killer photos that made the 5+ hours of driving worth it! Thanks Jenn for being a sport!

Full post for Arielle & Kyle's Coastal Wedding!

What an awesome time at the Salt Hotel in Ilwaco, Washington celebrating Arielle & Kyle!  This wedding was so cool!  Arielle wore jewelry she made herself, a dress made by her mother, and after the ceremony sang a song she wrote for the groom...one of the most powerful wedding moments I have ever experienced!  A little rain couldn't get these two down!  Congratulations!

Erin & Scott's Amazing Wedding Day on the Reno Family Farm!

Congratulations to my great friends Erin & Scott!  An awesome gathering of friends and family took place on the same farm that Erin grew up on in Southern Oregon.  The laid back vibes and down home hospitality made everyone feel like they were part of the family.  Erin's brother, Jason, was the officiant and he pumped up the wedding crowd like no one I've ever seen.  It was the only time I've ever heard a crowd roar during a ceremony!  What an amazing celebration!  I love you guys!

Also: I think more Grandmas should be flower girls.
